四行連（よんぎょうれん；四行連句、quatrain, クウォートレイン、クワトレイン）は、4行で構成されるスタンザ（詩節、連）のこと。狭義の「quatrain」は、4行のみで作られた四行詩（四行連詩）を指す。ヨーロッパの詩の中で最も一般的なスタンザ形式である。押韻構成は「aabb」「abab」「abba」「abcb」などでなる。

バラッド律
バラッド律、バラッド格調（ballad metre）。前述した詩で『The Unquiet Grave』と『The Wife of Usher's Well』はこの韻律で書かれている。
賛美歌の韻律
賛美歌は、普通律（賛美歌調、common meter）、long meter、short meterなどさまざまな形式を使っている。
