One UIは、サムスン電子のGalaxy向けに開発されたユーザーインターフェイス（UI）である。GalaxyのAndroid採用製品とTizen採用製品であるスマートフォン、タブレット、スマートウォッチのUIを構築する。SDC 2018（英語版）で初めて発表された。これまでTouchWiz（英語版）もしくはGalaxy ExperienceとしてUIシステムが構築されてきたが、Android9よりOne UIとなった[1]。

バージョン履歴・リリース

One UI 1

One UI 1.0: Android 9 "Pie"をベースとしたOne UI最初のバージョン。 Galaxy S9/S9+のパイアップデート(1.15)に初めて適用され、同日Note 9にもアップデートが行われた。 その後、Galaxy Note 8やGalaxy S8、S8+にも適用された。

One UI 1.1: Galaxy S10シリーズから適用されたバージョン。 One UI 1.0 との違いはデジタルウェルビーイングが適用されている点。 Galaxy S10シリーズ以降、Galaxy Note10以前に発売されたGalaxy端末にはOne UI 1.1が適用されている。

One UI 1.2: Galaxy Foldに適用されたバージョン。 以前のバージョンとほとんど差がない。

One UI 1.5: Galaxy Note 10シリーズから適用されたバージョン。 Galaxy Foldも適用されているバージョンである。 以前のバージョンとの違いはクイックパネルにメディアオプションがある点。

One UI 2

One UI 2.0: Android 10をベースとした2世代目のOne UI。 One UI 1と異なり、デザインの変化と些細な機能が追加された。 従来のGalaxy S9シリーズやGalaxy Note 9、Galaxy S10シリーズやGalaxy Note 10シリーズもアップデートされた。 Googleの新しいジェスチャーも支援された。

One UI 2.1: Galaxy S20シリーズから適用されたバージョン。 One UI 2.0 との違いは、Samsung KeyboardのUI と機能が変更され、カメラ機能がより強化された点。

One UI 2.5: Galaxy Note 20シリーズに適用されたバージョン。 One UI 2.0 ~ 2.1 でサードパーティランチャーを使用するとAndroid 10 の新しいジェスチャーが使用できなくなっていたが、One UI 2.5 ではこの問題が解決されている。

One UI 3

One UI 3.0: Android 11をベースとした3世代目のOne UI。2020年12月末にGalaxy Note 20とGalaxy S20にアップデートが配信された。 2019年から発売された端末は全てアップデートされた。 アップデートすると、メディアボリューム設定がボリュームボタンの横に来て、Android 11と一緒にアップデートされる。 上段の通知ウィンドウが小さな画面にならず、すべて表示される。

One UI 3.1: Galaxy S21シリーズから適用されたバージョン。Galaxy S10以前のモデルはパイ アップデート初期にSamsung ExperienceとOne UIを混用していたが、このアップデートでOne UIが適用されることとなった。

One UI 3.1.1: Galaxy Z Fold3から適用されたバージョン。

One UI 4

One UI 4.0: Android 12をベースとした4世代目のOne UI。 2021年11月15日にGalaxy S21シリーズ向けにリリースされた。

One UI 4.1: Galaxy S22シリーズと共にリリースされたバージョン。 2022年3月15日に発表。 5月10日にはS22シリーズの前シリーズであるS21シリーズの「Galaxy S21・S21+」にソフトウェアアップデートが開始されるなど様々な機種でアップデートされている。

One UI 5

One UI 5.0: Android 13をベースとした5世代目のOne UI。2022年10月に発表された。2022年10月24日にGalaxy S22シリーズやGalaxy Z Flip4、Z Fold 4などのモデル向けにリリースされた。 iOS 16と同様に、ロック画面のカスタマイズ方法が再設計された。また、Material Youの適用範囲が多くのGoogleやSamsung製のアプリに拡大した。その他一部の機能の変更、アイコンの刷新などが行われた[2]。

One UI 5.1: One UI 5.0のマイナーアップデート。2023年2月1日に発表され、同年2月13日にGalaxy S23シリーズ向けにリリースされた。このアップデートには新しいマルチタスク機能、天気や新しいバッテリーウィジェット、設定アプリ内の提案やスマートウィジェットでのSpotifyの提案、カメラとギャラリーの機能、自撮り写真の色調変更機能、イメージリマスタリングの強化などの新機能や改善された機能が含まれる[3]。

One UI 6

One UI 6.0: Android 14をベースとした6世代目のOne UI[4]。 2023年10月30日にヨーロッパでGalaxy S23シリーズ向けに正式にリリースされた[5]。日本では2023年12月5日にドコモのS23シリーズ向けに、12月12日にauのS23シリーズ向けにアップデートが展開された[6][7]。 アップデートには新しいボタンのレイアウトとともに再設計されたクイックパネル、明るさ設定へのアクセスの改善、通知が来た時間ごとに並び替えが可能な新しい通知のレイアウトなどが含まれる。その他の新機能としては新たな標準フォント、新たな絵文字、改善されたマルチタスクのエクスペリエンス向上が含まれる。カメラアプリ、ギャラリー、フォトエディター、天気などのプリインストールされているSamsungアプリにもカスタマイズ機能やその他さまざまな機能が追加された[8]。

One UI 6.1: 日本では2024年4月11日に、Galaxy S24シリーズとともにリリースされた[9]。このアップデートはGalaxy S22、S23、S24、Z Fold 5、Z Flip 5、Galaxy Tab S9シリーズでのみ機能する新たなAI機能が含まれている。このAI機能は「Galaxy AI」と宣伝され、ローカルモデルとGoogleのGemini Proを使用したクラウドベースモデルの組み合わせを利用している。中国ではErnie Botを提供している百度がクラウドパートナーとなっている[10][11]。6.1を適用可能なすべてのデバイス向けに配信される機能には、バッテリー劣化を防ぐために設計されたバッテリー保護の強化、ギャラリー上やInstagramやSnapchatといったSNSアプリ上で利用できる写真向けのスーパーHDR、そしてAlways On Display上でロック画面の壁紙を表示するオプションが含まれる。同時に、Samsungのクイック共有とGoogleのニアバイシェアの併合が発表され、すべてのGalaxyユーザーが単一のソリューションを使用し、すべてのAndroidおよびWindowsデバイスとの高速ファイル転送が可能になる[12][13]。 One UI 6.1のリリースとは並行せず、SamsungはGalaxy A55のリリースと共にGoogleのA/B（シームレス）アップデート技術を実装した。これは再起動されるたびに起動するセカンダリシステムパーティションにアップデートをインストールすることで機能する[14][15]。

One UI 6.1.1: 日本では2024年9月10日にリリース[16]。このアップデートでGalaxy Z Flip6とZ Fold 6で導入された、キーワードを入れることでそれに沿ったフォーマットとトーンの設定が可能な文章を生成できる「チャットアシスト（文章の生成）」や、画像にスケッチをするだけでスケッチから簡単にイメージを作成することができる「AIスケッチ」などのGalaxy AI機能も従来機種のGalaxy S22、S23、S24、Z Fold 5、Z Flip 5及びGalaxy Tab S9シリーズで使用可能となる[17][18]。

One UI 7

One UI 7.0: 2025年1月22日、Galaxy S25シリーズの発売に合わせて、同シリーズ限定でリリース[19]。その後同年4月11日から、Galaxy S24などの以前発売の端末への配信が開始された[20]。

しかし、アップデート直後から「端末のロックが解除できない」「セキュリティフォルダの不具合」などの重大な問題が発見され、サムスンは15日頃に全世界でアップデートの配信を一時停止[21][22][23][24][25]。その後、同社は不具合の修正を実施し、4月中旬以降、各地域ごとに異なるスケジュールで配信が再開された[26][27]。なお日本では、6月16日頃から提供が開始[28][29]。

Android 15をベースとしており、One UIでは初となるUI（アプリアイコン、ウィジェット、カメラアプリ、ロック画面など）の刷新が行われた[30][31][32]。

「Samsung Galaxy」の記事における「One UI」の解説

One UIはGalaxy向けに開発されたユーザーインターフェイス（UI）である。GalaxyのAndroid採用製品とTizen採用製品であるスマートフォン、タブレット、スマートウォッチのUIを構築する。SDC 2018で初めて発表された。これまでTouchWizもしくはGalaxy ExperienceとしてUIシステムが構築されてきたが、Android 9 PieよりOne UIとなった。
