『A World Of Pandemonium』(ア ワールド オブ パンデモニウム)は、2011年11月23日に発売されたthe HIATUSの3枚目のオリジナルアルバム[2]。規格品番FLCF-4406。2011年12月7日にはアナログ盤もリリースされた[3]。
概要
the HIATUS 3枚目のオリジナルアルバム。タイトルは日本語で「大混乱の世界」という意味[4]。新曲8曲のほか、2nd EP『Hatching Mayflies』からの「Bittersweet/Hatching Mayflies」「Snowflakes」の2曲を合わせた全10曲を収録[3]。
プロデュースはthe HIATUS名義。作詞は細美が行い、作曲はthe HIATUSのメンバーで行った。ただし、ジェイミー・ブレイク（THE RENTALS）がボーカルで参加したM-4の「Souls」は彼女との共作である。初の全英詞になっている。細美がエレクトリックギターをアコースティックギターに持ち替えている[4]。
収録曲のミックスをチャド・ブレイク（エルヴィス・コステロ他を手掛ける）、ジョン・マッケンタイア（トータス他）、ビルイェル・ヨン・バーギッソン（シガー・ロス）、J.ロビンズ（ディスメンバメント・プラン他）という4人のサウンド・エンジニアに依頼した[2]。
