米Google は2015年1月13日、ドメイン登録サービス「Google Domains」ベータ版を米国ユーザー向けに一般公開した。
昨年6月開始時点では招待制だったが今回、米国在住ユーザーに解放された。米国以外からドメイン登録を行おうとすると下記のメッセージが表示される。今後、利用対象国を増やしていく模様だ。

Google Domains は年間12ドルからドメインが登録できる。Google Apps や Blogger 等との連携・統合が容易なのが特徴。追加費用を払うとダイナミックDNSサービスや Squarespace や Weebly、Wixといったパートナーと連携したウェブサイト構築機能なども利用できる。
