Overture がモバイル向けPPC広告に進出する。
米Yahoo!子会社Overture Services Inc.は30日、携帯電話会社の Vodafone およびフランステレコム子会社の Orange と広告配信において提携することを明らかにした。
今回の提携に基づき、Overture は両者の WAPの旅行ポータルにテキスト広告を配信。ユーザーには "call this number"のリンクが表示される。
Vodafone (VOD.L: Quote, Profile, Research) and France Telecom-owned (FTE.PA: Quote, Profile, Research) Orange will begin displaying the new advertisements later this spring on their WAP portals Vodafone live! and Orange World, Overture said on Tuesday. また、Overture UK はモバイルコマース社と提携、同社のPPC広告を他の携帯電話事業社のプラットフォームや海外でも展開していく。
