Xの下記の投稿にて、Huawei Ascend 910D と 920 のことが書いてあったので、記録に残します。

性能は、NVIDIA H100 相当

Ascend 920

  • This chip will undergo the most extensive architectural shift, moving fully to a GPGPU framework and enabling ecosystem interoperability with Nvidia’s stack.

おわりに

Ascend 910シリーズのメモリって、HBM2(or HBM2e) だと思うのですが、CXMT が HBMを出せば、HBM3/HBM4 も搭載してくると思います。

ロジック側は、SMIC との共同開発していると思います。。。。

ちなみに、Ascende 910 は、TSMC 7nm で開発しています。2019年8月の Hot chips で詳細が公開されています。途中、開発は止まっていたと思いますが、

と5つのプロダクトを開発した(する)んですね。凄いですね。
