Windows の shutdown が妙〜に遅いときが時々あります。イベントログを見ると

> ログオフ時にアプリケーションまたはサービスがレジストリをまだ使用している間に、Windows はユーザー MYPC\HogeHoge のレジストリを保存しました。
とか出ています。
試しに PC を工場出荷時に戻してみても(ほぼ Windows XP のクリーンインストール直後でも)出るんですよね。
と云うことで、User Profile Hive Cleanup Service (UPHClean) をインストールしてみました。

以下のようなイベントログが出ますと、正常に働いていると分かります。

ところで、これを入れてもすべてのケースで救済される訳ではないようで、頻度は減るもののやっぱり イベントID 1517 の事象は月に２〜３回発生しますね。まあ、手元のログでは月４０回くらい救済されてますのでほとんどすべてと言ってイイとは思いますが。
