[解答]
$\sin x+\cos x=\sqrt{2}\sin\left(x+\dfrac{\pi}{4}\right)$
であるから， $n\in\mathbb{Z}$ に対して
$x=\dfrac{\pi}{4}+2n\pi$ のとき極大値 $\sqrt{2}$ をとり，
$x=\dfrac{5\pi}{4}+2n\pi$ のとき極小値 $-\sqrt{2}$ をとる．
