質量 $m$ の弾が質量 $M$ の銃から銃に対する相対速度 $u$ で発射された．地面に対する弾と銃の速度を求めよ．

[解答]
地面に対する弾の速度を $v$ ，地面に対する銃の速度を $-V$ （逆向き）とおくと
相対速度から $V+v=u$ ，運動量保存から $mv-MV=0$ であるから，
$v=\dfrac{Mu}{M+m}$ ， $V=\dfrac{mu}{M+m}$
となる．
