\sqrt{(a+x)(b+x)}-\sqrt{(a-x)(b-x)}=\dfrac{2(a+b)x}{\sqrt(a+x)(b+x)}+\sqrt{(a-x)(b-x)}=\dfrac{2(a+b)}{\sqrt{\left(1+\dfrac{a}{x}\right)\left(1+\dfrac{b}{x}\right)}+\sqrt{\left(1-\dfrac{a}{x}\right)\left(1-\dfrac{b}{x}\right)}}\to a+b（x\to\infty）
となる．
