意味
平文とあるハッシュ値の組わせを用意し、そのリストと総当りでもとの平文を見つけ出すという手法のことを指す。

レインボーテーブルに関する論文にて以下のような記述がある
The main limitation of the original scheme is the fact that when two chains collide in a single table they merge.
