本日はUnityトラブルシューティング枠です。
筆者はUnityを愛用しておりますが、本日今まで遭遇したことがないエラーに遭遇しました。
本日はエラーの解消を行います。
〇環境
・Windows11PC
・UnityHub
〇発生したトラブル
UnityHubを起動する際に起動に失敗し、次のようなCritical Errorが表示されます。
このエラーが発生時はUnityHubおよびUnityが起動できなくなります。
また再起動やUnityHubの再インストールなどを行いましたがいずれも門外は解消されませんでした。
〇対処的な問題の解消
今回は根本原因を見つけることはできませんでしたが、あくまで一時的に問題を回避してUnityHubを起動できました。
回避法としてはUnityHubを管理者権限で起動することです。
この状態で起動した場合プロジェクト起動時に次のようなダイアログが表示されます。
これはUnityが管理者権限で実行されているため潜在的なリスクを抱えていることを表しています。
Unity is running as administrator. Unity is running with Administrator privileges, which is not supported. Unity executes scripts and binary libraries in your project that may originate from third party sources and potentially be harmful to your computer. Unity may also execute scripts and binary libraries that are still under development and not yet fully tested. Running Unity with Administrator privileges may lead to catastrophic consequences, including but not limited to accidental data loss, damage of global system settings or even bricking your device.
Restart Unity as a standard user. I wish to continue at my own risk
「標準ユーザーとしてUnityを再起動する」または「自己責任で続行する」のオプションが選択でき一応自己責任で続行することで起動できます。
