私が今この日記を書いているマシンにはSQL Server 2005 Express EditionとSQL Server 2005の管理ツールのみがインストールされています。当時Management Studio Express Editionがなかったため、Express Editionだけでは管理ツールが不足だったので、後から入れたのです。
今日WSUSをチェックしていると、SQL Server 2005 SP1が適用されていないという報告があったので、「あ、管理ツールの分が当たってないか」と適用してみると…エラー(;-;)。
