日本アニメが世界に冠たる存在であったのも今は昔、レベルが最低になった。テレビ東京はアニメに理解のある局の一つだが、ついこの前ロボットアニメを見ていたら、内容の劣化が目についた。ありふれた顔と衣装の登場人物、時間制限なく繰り返されるロボットの合体（そうしている間に倒されてしまうだろう）
このような惨状は、かつてのロボットアニメの縮小再生産にあたる。この情けないレベルでは韓国や中国などの外国にも負けるであろう。今の日本アニメは過去の栄光の残り火で余生を送っているに過ぎず、絶滅は間近だ。
この事態の最大の原因はマンガクリエーターの教養不足であろう。アニメしか知らないクリエーターには駄作しか作れない。もっといろいろなジャンルを勉強して、クリエーターとしての情操教育を自らに課すべきだ。そしてその努力は、アニメを見る人の情操を豊かにするのだ。古典的アニメを学ぶのも有益だ。「バビル2世」のような傑作を。
