梅雨入りが徐々に始まり、蒸し暑さを感じる季節になってきました。
雨にも負けない、夏の暑さにも負けない！曇った日にこそパワーをもらえるバンド！
今回は Guns N' Roses (ガンズ・アンド・ローゼズ) の曲「Sweet Child O' Mine」を翻訳いたしました★
ガンズ・アンド・ローゼズは世界的な人気を誇る、アメリカのロックバンド。
アルバムは世界で1億枚以上の売り上げを誇っています。
「史上最も人気のある100のロックバンド」ではトップ10入りを果たし、2012年にはロックの殿堂入りをしました。
そして「Sweet Child O' Mine」は数多くのアーティストからもカバーされた名曲で、1987年に発売されたアルバム「Appetite for Destruction」に収録された曲。
歌詞はヴォーカルを務めるアクセル・ローズの当時の恋人に捧げて書いた曲だそうで、ギターソロはワンテイクで録音されたそうです！
因みに、2022年公開映画「ソー：ラブ＆サンダー」の劇中に、ガンズ・アンド・ローゼズの曲がたくさん起用されていましたね♪「Sweet Child O' Mine」は予告編に使われました！
