今回は Bryan Adams (ブライアン・アダムス) の曲「(Everything I Do) I Do It for You」を翻訳いたしました！
ブライアン・アダムスはカナダ出身のシンガーソングライターですが、写真家としても活動をしている多彩な才能の持ち主。
1991年に6枚目のアルバム「Waking Up the Neighbours」のシングルとして収録され、イギリスで16週、アメリカで7週、カナダで39週すべて第1位を記録・・・他各国のチャートもおさえ、その記録は最長連続第1位としてギネス記録に認定されました！
映画の主題歌になっている曲も多く、
1989年クリント・イーストウッド主演映画「ピンク・キャデラック」の劇中歌の作詞を担当し、その縁でカメオ出演も果たしています。
「(Everything I Do) I Do It for You」は1991年に公開された「ロビン・フッド」のテーマ曲となりました。
1993年には映画「三銃士」のテーマ曲「All For Love」をリリース。これはロッド・スチュワートとスティングの3人で三銃士にちなんで結成されたものだそうです♪
胸を熱くさせるハード・バラードな音色に美しい歌詞。最近のラブソングでは聴くことのできない、世界が愛した名ラブソングです。
