新年、明けましておめでとうございます★
2025年もたくさんの洋楽をご紹介、翻訳していきたいと思っておりますので、今後ともよろしくお願い申し上げます！
さて、今年最初の曲は「新年」ということでこちら。
新年に聴きたい洋楽としては王道な曲でしょう♪
ABBA (アバ) の「Happy New Year」を翻訳いたしました！
(7枚目のアルバム「Super Trouper」に収録されています)

ABBA といえば、1970年～1980年代を代表するスウェーデンのポップ・バンド。
1982年に解散してしまいましたが、その後1992年にリリースされたベスト・アルバム「ABBA Gold」は約3,000枚の売上を達成しました。
さらに、1999年には ABBA の代表曲が起用されたミュージカル「マンマ・ミーア！」がイギリスで公演され大ヒット、その後も世界各国で公演されるロングセラーとなり、2008年には映画化もされる等、解散後も根強い人気を博しました。
日常を忘れて羽目を外したあと、またいつもの日常に戻るときの虚しさってありますよね・・・そんな気持ちを前向きにして、再び新しい一年 (未来) を楽しみに生きようという想いを心に灯してくれる、とてもいい曲です♪
