The Modern Lovers の「Ice Cream Man」という曲を翻訳いたしました！

先ずは The Modern Lovers (ザ・モダン・ラヴァーズ) のご紹介から。
モダン・ラヴァーズはジョナサン・リッチマン率いるアメリカのロックバンドです。
1970年～約4年間という短い活動期間で解散してしまいましたが、モダン・ラヴァーズ時代にリリースした唯一のアルバム「The Modern Lovers」は批評家から「アート・ロック史上最高のアルバム」と絶賛され、セックス・ピストルズ等のパンク・ロック界に大きな影響を与えたそうです。
このバンドの特徴として、ロックバンドのヴェルヴェット・アンダーグラウンドやストゥージズ等の影響を強く受けており、「プロトパンク」のジャンルに分類されています。「Ice Cream Man」もそうですが、しばしば子供向けのような曲を書くことでも知られているそうですね！
アイスクリーム屋さんの曲です。聴いてるとなんだか微笑ましい曲なのですが、なかなか個性的で、一度聴けばずっと忘れないような面白い曲に出会うことができました！
