受賞歴とノミネートを誇り、哲学的な思想を持つイギリスのシンガーソングライター。今回は、Birdy(バーディー)の曲「People Help The People」を翻訳いたしました！
Birdyは、12歳のときに自身で書いた楽曲をYouTubeにアップしたところ、それを聴いたワーナー・ブラザーズ・レコードUKから公式オファーを受け、14歳のときにボン・イヴェールの曲「Skinny Love」をカバーするとこれがヒットし、イギリスのラジオ番組に取り上げられたことで有名になりました。
この「People Help The People」は、Birdyのデビューアルバムである2011年リリースの「Birdy」に収録された曲で、イギリスやオーストラリアにおいてゴールドディスクを獲得した名曲です。
他にも彼女は数多く楽曲の提供をしており、「ハンガーゲーム」の曲「Just a Game」も手掛け、ピクサー作品「メリダとおそろしの森」では「Learn Me Right」を歌っています！
