This is a masterpiece by Chris Connor, a white female vocalist who debuted as a band singer with Stan Kenton's band.
The highlight is the song "I Concentrate on You" sung with the trombone duo of J.J. Johnson and Kai Winding.
The husky voice in "The Thrill is Gone" is also great.
This is the album I want to listen to when having dinner with my family.
