バラエティ番組のロケ地に親近感を覚える楽しさ

録画していた少し前の「有吉の壁」を見たら、また木更津のホテル三日月がロケ地になっていた。以前も番組でこのホテルを見たことがあるぞ、と思っていたが、どうも定期的にロケで使われているらしい。

先日、本ブログにも書いたように、私も訪問したホテルなので、知っている場所にたくさん芸能人が出ているのを見るとなんだか楽しいものである。アクアラインを使える人なら、交通の便も良いのでホテル三日月はおすすめできる。また行きたいものである。

「失礼キャラ」の好感度を分ける要因について

あちこちオードリーで、あのちゃんとホラン千秋が登場する回を興味深く見た。

あのちゃんは、物言いが直接的で忖度がないので、いわゆる失礼キャラの範疇に含まれると思うのだが、炎上して最近見ることのなくなったフワちゃんと比べると比較的、好感度が高い気がする。なぜだろうか。

アイドル出身でビジュアル面で好感度を得られやすい、という面もあるかもしれない。ただ、あのちゃんが内向的な性格なのに対して、フワちゃんが外向的だったのが大きな違いかもしれない。

人から絡まれるのが嫌で、それを露骨に表現しているあのちゃんが、受け身であるのに対して、フワちゃんは自ら誰かに絡みにいくタイプだから迷惑に思われやすいのだろう。

番組の内容としては、ホラン千秋の、人生の余白は自分で決断して確保しないといけない、という話が印象的だった。人気があって忙しい人たちは、良いこともあるのだろうが、それこそ余白のないかなり無理のあるスケジュールで苦労しているのだろうな、と思わされた。

感情を揺さぶるドラマの時系列演出

これから観る方もいるだろうから、どの作品か言及するのは避けるが、TVドラマを見ていて感心したプロットの話である。とある主要な登場人物が亡くなることを描写するのに、まず、あるエピソードの最終盤で、その人のお葬式シーンを唐突に映す。そして次回のエピソードでは時系列を巻き戻して、その人物と家族との最後の日常をじっくり描く形だった。

視聴者としては、既に前話の段階で、亡くなることを理解しているので、日常を描いたどのシーンも感情的に感じられて、巧みな手法だと思った。

ただこれは素人の目線なので、もしかすると、ありふれたやり方なのかもしれないが。

成功の秘訣は多角展開にあり？「ゆる学徒カフェ」から学ぶこと

ゆる学徒カフェというYouTubeのチャンネルをよく見ている。堀元さん、かたりやさん、黒川さんの三人が登場する動画が特に面白い。

もともと、堀元さんが言語学に詳しい水野さんと運営する「ゆる言語学ラジオ」というYouTubeのチャンネルがあった。このチャンネルに人気が出た後、堀元さんが派生チャンネルをいくつも立ち上げたり、池袋にカフェの店舗を立ち上げたりと活動の幅を広げた経緯がある。

上で紹介したYouTubeの「ゆる学徒カフェ」チャンネルはその過程で生まれたものである。チャンネル名は池袋の店舗の名前と同じで、店舗で撮影されることを特徴としている。当初は店舗の開業準備や運営に関する話が多かったが、最近はそれ以外のトピックスを取り上げることも多い。

私はもともと「ゆる言語学ラジオ」のファンだったのだが、いまでは、「ゆる学徒カフェ」のチャンネルの方をより頻繁に視聴するようになった。

最初の頃は、成功した「ゆる言語学ラジオ」に注力したほうが良いのでは、と外野から無責任なことを思っていたのだが、新しい取り組みも、次々と成功させていて、感心してしまう。成功のコツは、色々新しいことを始めることにあるのだな、と感じる。

肝心の紹介した動画の内容だが、新商品・サービスを提供する前のテストの解説である。テストによって有意な結果を得るにはたくさんのサンプルが必要だから大企業でないと難しい。中小企業は、テストなく良し悪しが判断できる天才が必要、という形で話がまとめられていた。カフェ経営に絡めてなのか、このチャンネルはマーケティングについて解説することが多く、どれも興味深い。

淡々とした中に深みのある物語「邪神の弁当屋さん」

コミックDAYSで、「邪神の弁当屋さん」を第一話から購読している。邪神とされた神が人間となってお弁当屋さんをやる話である。

大げさな表現はなく淡々とストーリーが進む感じを受けるが、謎のあるストーリーや、キャラクターの感情の機微などが描かれていて興味深い。

15話に入り、ストーリーの核心に近づこうとしているように見えるが、どうなるだろうか。できれば長く連載が続いてほしいものである。

As I wrote on this blog recently, I've also visited this hotel, so it's enjoyable to see many celebrities appearing in a place I know. For those who can use the Aqua Line, Hotel Mikazuki is recommendable due to its convenient transportation access. I'd like to visit again.

Factors That Distinguish the Favorability of "Rude Characters"

I watched an episode of "Achikochi Audrey" featuring Ano-chan and Horan Chiaki with great interest.

Ano-chan speaks directly and without consideration, which I believe places her in the category of so-called "rude characters." However, compared to Fuwa-chan, who has been involved in controversies and is rarely seen recently, Ano-chan seems to maintain relatively high favorability. Why is this?

There might be an aspect where, being an idol-background performer, she can gain favorability through her visual appeal. However, the significant difference might be that Ano-chan has an introverted personality while Fuwa-chan was extroverted.

Ano-chan, who dislikes being approached by people and expresses this openly, is passive in nature, whereas Fuwa-chan was the type to actively approach others, making her more likely to be perceived as bothersome.

Regarding the program content, Horan Chiaki's statement that "life's margins must be secured through one's own decisions" was particularly impressive. Popular and busy people might have good aspects to their lives, but they probably struggle with quite unreasonable schedules with no margins.

I'll avoid mentioning which work this refers to since some may watch it in the future, but I want to discuss a plot structure I found admirable in a TV drama. To depict the death of a major character, the show first abruptly shows that person's funeral scene at the end of an episode. Then, in the next episode, it rewinds the timeline to carefully portray the final daily life between that character and their family.

As viewers already understand from the previous episode that the character will die, every scene depicting ordinary life feels emotional, which I thought was a skillful technique.

However, this is from an amateur's perspective, so this might be a common approach.

Is the Secret to Success Multi-faceted Expansion? Learning from "Yuru Gakuto Cafe"

I frequently watch a YouTube channel called "Yuru Gakuto Cafe." Videos featuring the three people - Horimoto-san, Katariya-san, and Kurokawa-san - are particularly interesting.

Originally, there was a YouTube channel called "Yuru Gengogaku Radio" operated by Horimoto-san and Mizuno-san, who is knowledgeable about linguistics. After this channel became popular, Horimoto-san expanded his activities by launching several derivative channels and opening a cafe store in Ikebukuro.

The "Yuru Gakuto Cafe" YouTube channel I introduced above was created in this process. The channel name is the same as the Ikebukuro store, and it's characterized by filming at the store. Initially, there were many discussions about store opening preparations and operations, but recently they often cover other topics as well.

While I was originally a fan of "Yuru Gengogaku Radio," I now watch the "Yuru Gakuto Cafe" channel more frequently.

Initially, I irresponsibly thought from the sidelines that focusing on the successful "Yuru Gengogaku Radio" would be better, but seeing them succeed one after another with new initiatives is impressive. I feel that the secret to success lies in starting various new things.

Regarding the content of the video I introduced, it explains testing before providing new products and services. Since obtaining significant results through testing requires many samples, it's difficult for companies other than large corporations. The discussion was summarized as small and medium enterprises needing geniuses who can judge quality without testing. Perhaps related to cafe management, this channel often explains marketing topics, all of which are fascinating.

A Story with Depth Despite Its Understated Approach: "The Lunch Box Shop of the Evil God"

I've been reading "The Lunch Box Shop of the Evil God" on Comic DAYS from the first episode. It's a story about a god labeled as evil who becomes human and runs a lunch box shop.

While it feels like the story progresses quietly without exaggerated expressions, it depicts mysterious storylines and subtle emotional nuances of characters, making it intriguing.

Having entered the 15th episode, it seems to be approaching the core of the story, but I wonder what will happen. I hope the serialization continues for a long time.
