ブログ記事の執筆において、私自身、ここ数ヶ月で生成AIを積極的に取り入れている。
AIに下書きの推敲を依頼すると、私の語彙や表現力では思いつかないような、洗練された表現を使ってくれるので勉強になる。雑な文章を書いても、それなりに読める文章にしてくれるため、ブログを書くための気負いが要らなくなった。気軽に手早く記事を書けるようになったことで、ブログの更新頻度を高めるのにも役立っている。
一方で、AIに頼ることで自身の推敲する機会を失い、長期的に見ると文章力の維持と向上に悪影響が生じる気もする。しかし、AIがあることで文章を書く機会自体は増えているのも事実である。これは質を取るか量をとるかの問題で、AIの利用が吉と出るか凶と出るかは、正直私にはよく分からない。
ただ、文章力の問題を棚上げすれば、将来このブログを見返した時に、たくさんの記事が残っているほうが楽しみが多い気がする。なので、まずは量をとってみることにした。
あと、日本語の文章のあとにはAIに英語の翻訳とその解説も付してもらっている。自身の考えを英語で伝えるにはどういう表現を使うか気になるからである。
このブログは徹頭徹底、私自身が読者であると言えよう。

The Reality Behind a Self-Satisfying Blog: My Two-Person Journey with AI
When writing blog posts, I've been actively incorporating generative AI for the past few months.
When I ask AI to refine my drafts, it provides sophisticated expressions I wouldn't have thought of with my own vocabulary and expressive power, which is quite educational. Even if I write a rough text, it makes it readable to some extent, so I no longer feel pressured to write blog posts. Being able to write articles easily and quickly has also helped me increase my blog's update frequency.
On the other hand, by relying on AI, I lose opportunities to refine my writing myself, and I'm concerned this might negatively affect the maintenance and improvement of my writing skills in the long run. However, it's also true that having AI has increased the very opportunities I have to write. This is a question of whether to prioritize quality or quantity, and frankly, I don't know if using AI will turn out to be a blessing or a curse.
However, if I set aside the issue of writing ability for now, I feel that when I look back at this blog in the future, having many articles left will bring more enjoyment. So, for now, I've decided to prioritize quantity.
Also, after the Japanese text, I have AI provide an English translation and an explanation of the English expressions. This is because I'm curious about what expressions to use to convey my thoughts in English.
Ultimately, it's safe to say that I am, entirely and absolutely, the sole reader of this blog.
English Expression Commentary
