In March 2025, the "MLB Tokyo Series by Guggenheim" featuring the Chicago Cubs and the Los Angeles Dodgers will be held at the Tokyo Dome in Japan as the opening game of Major League Baseball. Preseason games will also be held against the Yomiuri Giants and the Hanshin Tigers prior to the opening game.
